Genshin Impact

This first embed is JUST A DEMO of what article view looks like as an embed. I am NOT recommending this view for most embeds, and don't think it's a great list for embedding, but I put it here anyway just to show what a whole article looks like as an embed. The list below it is very interesting, though. Read the notes below that second list for why I think it's interesting.

Notes for the Gamurs team

Time to prepare this list:

  • Copy, paste and format data: ~5 minutes
  • Add 70 images (from Fandom): ~15 minutes to write a python script, then ~5 mins to add all the images with a new feature*

Ideas for additional fields:

I think this is a REALLY INTERESTING OPPORTUNITY. In this article on Destructoid, The author talks about why tier lists suck... in short, tier lists only rate characters (or items, or objects, or whatever) based on one attribute (or set of attributes).

On Listium, we have the ability to group a list by any field with the click of a button, meaning we can effectively create as many tier lists as we want within one list. Just by adding a new field and changing the grouping we get a whole new tier list. In other words, a field for overall strength, a field for DPS, a field for support, even for "visual appeal" if you are into that!

The list above is currently in 'grid' view. My version of a tier list view is still not released, but it's not too far off if we decide to prioritize it. It will include drag and drop, and everything you expect from a tier list, as well as all of the other stuff you get with Listium.

I might be overselling this, but we have the ability to be the first tool that allows users to create multiple tier lists within a single list. Again, I am not talking about making a copy of a list and creating a new list with different rankings. This is multiple fields on the same list, all with tier ratings based on different attributes, and accessible with one click.

One thing I can't do at the moment is create separate URL's for different views, but it would make sense to do that.

If your resident expert on Genshin Impact is interested in doing tier ratings based on a range of attributes (or if you can find that data from somewhere you trust), let's make this a thing.

*Note: Late today I built and released a new drag and drop feature for images on table view. It reduces the time to add images by at least 50% if you have them on your computer and don't have to go hunting for them.
